Are you an artist who is interested in sharing your talents with the Tulsa community? Current opportunities are below.
Divided into north and south portions, THE GALLERY at ahha is a 4400 square foot contemporary environment designed to support and affirm the furthest reaches of artistic vision. Ahha Tulsa does not have a permanent collection. By design, we host an ever-changing series of exhibitions. We are committed to showing the work of artists with diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and opinions and to providing a safe space to discuss artists’ work and intentions. THE GALLERY is located on the first floor of ahha Tulsa Hardesty Center.
Ahha invites US based artists/collectives working in all visual arts media to propose original exhibition concepts that feature the work of two or more artists for THE GALLERY at ahha. We are not seeking solo exhibition proposals at this time.
Exhibitions selected by The Exhibition Committee will be on view for two-month periods throughout 2022. Exact dates are TBD.
Application deadline: November 5th, 2021
Please download and review application packet prior to applying.
Ahha Tulsa invites local and regional artists to sell original artwork in the ahha Gift Shop on a consignment basis.
*January 2020: The gift shop is currently full. Feel free to still submit your art to be placed in the queue. See “Review Process” below for more information.
Each selected artist must sign a consignment agreement with a term of at least 90 days. Inventory must be delivered at the artist’s expense to the ahha Hardesty Center. Artists receive 60% of each sale and the ahha receives 40% of each sale. Staff and Members of ahha Tulsa receive a 10% discount on all gift shop sales.
Ahha Tulsa handles all sales and processing. Once per month, consignment checks are mailed to artists who sold merchandise the prior month.
Gift Shop consignment sales are open to all artists, but preference is given to artists living in the state of Oklahoma. All items must be handmade, original works of art or craft. The following items are currently accepted as approved by the committee: paintings, drawings, original prints, photography, clothing, textiles, pottery, ceramics, wood carving, sculpture, jewelry, toys and games, children’s items, paper works (art cards, notecards, calendars, hand-bound books, glasswork, metalwork, traditional art).
Merchandise proposals are currently reviewed by our Guest Services Manager. Your submittal will be put into a queue. When space is available in the gift shop, the Guest Services Manager will pull from these submittals in the order they came through.
